Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Thunkable developer with a strong background in either AWS or Firebase integration to help us complete our app development project. Thunkable is a drag-and-drop low-code platform, and you should have proven experience using it to create functional, polished mobile apps. Your primary responsibility will be to set up and finalize the sign-in/sign-up process, integrate the app with AWS or Firebase, and prepare the app for launch on both the Android and Apple App Stores.
Additionally, users of the app should be able to:
- Set up and manage their accounts and assets.
- Access their accounts to manage returns.
- Set up payments, including one-time payments and subscription-based recurring payments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sign-in/sign-up functionality using Thunkable.
- Set up backend services with either AWS or Firebase, depending on project needs.
- Integrate AWS Cognito or Firebase Authentication for secure user authentication.
- Implement functionality for users to manage accounts, assets, and returns.
- Set up payment processing for both one-time payments and recurring subscriptions.
- Connect the app with a database (AWS DynamoDB or Firebase Realtime Database/Firestore) for managing user data.
- Ensure the app is fully functional and meets all requirements for submission to the Android and Apple App Stores.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues during the development process.
- Collaborate with our team to ensure alignment with Holen Hub's business goals and branding.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with Thunkable, specifically in its drag-and-drop low-code environment.
- Strong understanding of mobile app development and deployment processes for both Android and Apple platforms.
- Experience with AWS Cognito or Firebase Authentication and real-time database integration.
- Experience with setting up payment processing, including recurring payments.
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug app-related issues.
- Familiarity with App Store and Google Play submission guidelines.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience launching apps on both Android and Apple platforms.
- Experience with other no-code or low-code platforms.
- Strong project management skills.
