Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Grant Writer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching and writing grant proposals to secure funding for our organization. The Grant Writer will be expected to work closely with our development team to identify potential funding sources and craft compelling proposals that showcase our organization's mission and impact.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough research to identify potential funding sources and ensure that all necessary information is included in the grant application.
- Collaborate with our development team to gather information and resources necessary for grant applications.
- Write clear, concise, and compelling grant proposals that highlight our organization's mission, goals, and impact.
- Edit and proofread grant proposals to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to all applicable guidelines and regulations.
- Manage contracts and agreements with funding sources, ensuring compliance with all terms and conditions.
- Utilize Raiser Edge to track and manage grant applications, as well as to analyze and report on the effectiveness of our grant writing efforts.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the success of our grant writing efforts, making recommendations for improvement as necessary.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our organization's programs and services, as well as the needs of our target population.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest grant writing trends, best practices, and regulations.
Requirements
- Degree in English, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in grant writing, with a strong track record of securing funding for non-profit organizations.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Strong research skills, with the ability to quickly and accurately gather information from a variety of sources.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Experience with contract management and Raiser Edge.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple grant applications simultaneously.

Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $20.00 per hour
