Role Overview:
We are seeking a Graphic Designer to join our client's Creative Services team in Burbank, CA. In this hybrid role, you will work closely with creative directors to develop and execute advertising and marketing materials for the client's upcoming entertainment projects, including movies and TV shows.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Creative Asset Management: Review, process, and ensure the quality of creative assets. Open and check files in Adobe Creative Suite for resolution, linked files, and font usage.
- Digital Design: Create and resize digital assets, including social media content, promotional materials, and YouTube channel logos. Design invitations, congratulatory ads, and other digital and print media.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Creative Director and attend weekly creative meetings. Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop and refine concepts.
- Research: Organize artwork, copy, and legal requirements for releases.
- Meetings: Attend status and kick-off meetings to discuss project timelines and creative review.
Must-Haves:
- Experience: 1-3 years as a graphic designer in a design studio, advertising agency, or related industry.
- Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in typography, graphic design, and layout.
- Advanced Photoshop skills, including retouching and imaging.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Attention to detail and composure under pressure.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Passion for movies and TV.
- Knowledge of Quark, Excel, Microsoft Word, and Outlook.
