SOCIAL MEDIA VIDEO EDITOR
Team Win Studios is seeking a talented and creative Video Editor who specializes in social media content. The Social Media Video Editor will play a crucial role in crafting engaging video content optimized for various social media platforms. Your expertise will be instrumental in enhancing brand visibility, engagement, and storytelling through compelling visual narratives. This is a freelance position to start. Competitive rates offered.
Responsibilities:
Editing and Post-Production:
- Assemble and edit raw footage into a polished video for publication across various social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, etc.
- Ensure videos are optimized for different aspect ratios, durations, and technical specifications required by each platform.
- Able to incorporate graphics, animations, sound effects, and other enhancements that align with the brand's style and messaging.
Workflow Management:
- Manage and organize all of your project’s media assets efficiently.
- Maintain an organized file and adhere to naming conventions for smooth collaboration with other team members.
Stay Updated with Trends:
- Keep abreast of the latest trends and best practices in social media video content creation and editing.
- Implement innovative editing techniques and visual styles to keep our brand's content fresh and competitive.
Communication:
- Be available 9-6 on days you are booked for a project. Communicate ahead of time if any scheduling complications arise.
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Video Editor with a focus on social media content.
- Please have agency experience or high quality brand work in your portfolio.
- Must have experience and knowledge of social media platform best practices.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, and Photoshop. After Effects experience is a plus.
- Solid understanding of video formats, codecs, and delivery methods for various social media platforms.
- Strong creative thinking skills and the ability to translate ideas into compelling visual stories.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- A portfolio of past work demonstrating proficiency in video editing and storytelling.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of motion graphics, color correction, and basic sound editing is a plus.
