Job Title: Social Media Coordinator
Job Summary:
The Social Media Coordinator will report to the Senior Digital Marketing Manager for high level digital marketing direction and the onsite Marketing Manager for brand and property related direction. The Digital Marketing Coordinator will coordinate all digital assets associated with website, email marketing, and social media platforms for the property. This is a part-time, hybrid role with weekly hours ranging from 15-25 hours/week. Candidates must live in Santa Barbara, CA or be willing to commute to the job location.
Responsibilities
Social Media
- Daily social media platform upkeep and postings regarding tenant and property events promotions
- Photography: shoot, edit, and curate content for social media channels that reflect the property’s brand guidelines and tone.
- Responsible for monitoring and improving brand awareness through content on digital media platforms.
- Coordinate influencer partnerships to assist in new tenant openings/promotions.
- Execute Social Media content calendar.
- Community management on all social platforms; daily review of customer feedback and alerting management of issues and responding to all guests in a timely manner.
- Monthly activity summaries on Social Media metrics – engagement overview, platform stats, customer feedback.
- Build and coordinate social media strategy with Senior Digital Marketing Manager, which includes content creation such as short videos, photos, and graphic design material, ensuring that content tells a compelling brand story. (IG, Facebook, TikTok, etc.)
Website
- Daily coordination with Property Marketing Manager on website upkeep and updates regarding tenant events and property events / promotions.
- Daily updating of website Events calendars, with details as provided by property marketing team and tenants.
Additional Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute the email marketing strategy which includes concepting, directing overall design and coordination with graphic artist.
- Create and design various marketing materials for print and digital collateral when needed.
- Manage relationships with our online community as well as influencers and other content creators (freelance videographers and photographers to enhance our digital content).
- Meet with Property Marketing Manager, Senior Digital Marketing Manager, and Prism marketing team on a regular basis to ensure adherence to overall marketing plan; thorough communication of project status to ensure teams are aware of activity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, graphic design, communications, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in digital content creation.
- Deep knowledge of social media trends, hashtags, and engagement strategy.
- Proven experience in creating engaging content on different social media platforms—Twitter, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, InDesign, and other graphic design software.
- Compelling portfolio of work over a wide range of creative projects.
- Experience designing for upscale, boutique, retail, design, or hospitality entities.
- Excellent research, organizational, and time management skills.
- The capacity to work independently and collaboratively.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
