Academic Consulting - Software Engineering and Computer Science Instructors and Professor

Freelance Master's Degree Program Development and SME Consulting Opportunity - Software Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science and Information Systems Professors & Subject Matter Experts Needed

In partnership with an esteemed academic partner, Lumina Datamatics is seeking Software Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science and Information Systems Professors and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for an upcoming freelance project requiring program design and consultation services for the following master-level courses.

Launching May 20th

• Integrating AI with Modern Software Applications
• Containerization and Orchestration Technologies
• CI/CD Security
• Infrastructure as Code

Experience in curriculum and course development, as well as teaching experience at the master’s level, is REQUIRED for this role.

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. preferred or Masters required in areas like Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence or related field.
• A minimum of 2 years in a software engineer/developer role with a Ph.D. or 5 years with a Master's and 2 years instructional experience is preferred.
• 2 years + teaching experience at the collegiate level within the field is required.
• Experience authoring content, learning objectives, introductions, assessments and/or developing academic content/curriculum is highly preferred.
• Must be self-motivated and comfortable working remotely while meeting deliverable deadlines; must have excellent communication and time management skills.

This freelance project is expected to launch in May. The work will span over eight weeks, with a focus on the first 3-4 weeks for the main tasks (weekly meetings are the main bulk of the work, where SMEs will have the opportunity to provide input on the creation of the course) and subsequent weeks for small tweaks and final revisions.
