Junior Graphic Designer

We are proudly aligned with an established and growing Food/Consumer Products company in the Greater Chicago Area to help them find a Junior Graphic Designer for a 3+ month part time contract. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to supplement freelance work with a steady 20-25 hours/week contract.

Our client is a values-first family-owned company with well-known branding. They seek an individual who will support their Senior Design Manager with packaging copy projects.

Job Location: Fully remote, but must be local to Chicago (occasional onsite requirement at company headquarters in northwest Indiana)

Role Type: Contract: 20-25 hours for 3+ months

What you’ll be doing:

• Working independently and with the team on packaging label design, digital images, and other marketing materials
• Collaborating on layout, typography, and photography decisions

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Graphic Design or similar field
• Minimum 1+ year Graphic Design and copy experience in the Packaging/CPG field
• Ability to self-direct as well as collaborate with a team
• Tech: Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
• Portfolio or samples of work required
