Position Information

The Visual Merchandising Junior Designer will be detail-oriented, organized, and have a passion for luxury beauty. The junior designer will come with experience in the design and production of in-store displays, events and pop-ups. The right profile will exhibit an intuitive sense of design and be capable of producing high-end, sophisticated work.

Position Responsibilities

• Design artwork assets for store units, events and in-store setups.

• Produce renderings and graphics to fulfill global and/or regional needs for permanent displayers, launch content and digital guidelines, in-store artwork and graphics.

• Mockup potential unit and displays and visuals in stores with Photoshop, to present for approval and make adjustments as needed.

• Creating decks with VM assets to present in meetings.

• Assist in creating and laying out visuals for VM units on counters.

• In partnership with the VM Manager, create guidelines for unit setups to be sent out to retailers.

• Helping to install setups and displays for events and meetings.

• Serve as a key point of contact and provide vendors with needed assets for them to produce items needed for VM events.

• Prepare and quality check production files for release to vendors and/or internal teams.

• Support VM Manager and VM VP with creative design and execution of all visual needs (graphics, perm displayers, presentations, guidelines, etc.)

• Create and maintain lightbox database

Position Qualifications

• 1-3 years’ experience in Visual/Creative Services design

• Demonstrate hands-on skills in the latest Adobe Creative Suite

• Proficient in Sketch Up Pro

• Strong design sense and ability with color, typography, composition, and image manipulation

• Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Willingness and ability to follow direction of VM Manger, VP and/or senior staff.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to simultaneously handle multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines

• Flexible, resourceful, and self-motivated

• Understanding of print processes and basic HTML a plus
