Account Executive

Our client, a public relations agency in Uptown Dallas, is looking for a Public Relations Account Executive to join their growing DFW team! This role is ONSITE five days a week and is Freelance with the goal of converting to Full-Time.

This position that works directly with clients and client account objectives. The ideal Account Executive will have experience with Google Ad Words Campaign.

The main duties include content creation and management of Social Media campaigns for their major Restaurant and Hotel clients. This role should be skilled at using press release dissemination and traditional pitch and place media relations.

Account Executive Responsibilities:

• Developing and cultivating relationships with clients & external audiences.
• Managing account administration such as monitoring and reporting ROI and news coverage.
• Recommending and implementing initiatives that will improve the publics perception of the client.
• Partnering with the client and internal management and marketing team and national PR firm partner to develop and complete communications plans.
• Participating in client meetings and interacting in person with surrounding communities and key influencers around the country and several major market area hubs.
  
  

Account Executive Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of previous public relations, journalism or marketing work experience
• Knowledge of media coverage placements and able to maintain media relationships (especially with large clients)
• Excellent writing skills; ability to write for mid-level management and audiences
• Able to strategize and execute strong social and digital media skills along with fluency in Social Media (scheduling posts, hashtags, proofing, etc.)
• Good creative problem-solving skills
• Ability to develop and deliver presentations and produce program outlines for creative brainstorms
• Solid strategic-thinking skills, and the ability to handle and manage stressful situations and deadlines.
• Ability to develop and present new business pitches, and strong project management skills
