Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Social Media Manager role based in Glassboro, NJ. The Social Media Manager will plan, create, and publish engaging content that highlights Ye Olde Centerton Inn’s dining experience, history, and events across platforms such as Instagram and Facebook. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing a content calendar, capturing and editing photos and short-form videos on-site, writing posts and captions, and optimizing content for reach and engagement. The role will respond to comments and messages, monitor reviews, and collaborate with management and staff to promote specials, seasonal menus, and private events. Qualifications
Strong skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) to plan campaigns, grow followers, and improve engagement.Content Strategy experience to build and maintain a consistent brand voice and structured content calendar.Excellent Writing and Communication skills to create clear, compelling, and on-brand captions and messages.Experience capturing and editing photos and short-form videos for social platforms; familiarity with basic design tools is a plus.Ability to work on-site during key service times to capture content, with reliable transportation to Glassboro, NJ.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with restaurant leadership.Prior experience managing social media for hospitality, restaurants, or small businesses is preferred, but not required.Prior hospitality expereince preferred, but not required.Availability to support occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
