Company Description
LunaLeila is a health-first underwear brand built on a conviction most brands haven't caught up to yet: the fabric closest to your body should actively support your wellbeing. We design beautiful, thoughtfully made pieces from PFAS-free, OEKO-TEX® certified fabrics - for women who care deeply about what they put on their skin, and why. We're at the beginning of something real, and we're looking for someone to grow with us.
Role Description
We’re looking for a part-time, remote independent contractor for SMM manager role to shape how LunaLeila shows up in the world - leading social-first campaigns and building a content engine that people actually want to watch, save, and share. You'll be hands-on in execution and close to the thinking behind it. Content calendars, community engagement, influencer outreach, performance tracking, but also the conversations where we figure out what to say and how to say it. You'll work directly with the CMO and have real input on how this brand shows up in the world.
The ideal candidate is experienced in platform-native content development, and creator/UGC ecosystems.
We're building something worth wearing and worth working on. Come build it with us!
What you'll be responsible for:
- Social media strategy and execution across social media channels (Instagram, later - TikTok, Pinterest)
- Content calendar management from ideation through posting
- Community management and engagement
- Influencer and UGC outreach and coordination
- Performance reporting
- Co-branded content coordination for social media brand partnerships
- Staying current on platform trends, algorithm shifts, and what's actually working
What we’re looking for
- 1-2+ years of hands-on experience as a Social Media Manager (brand or agency side)
- Fluent English (written + spoken)
- Experience working with beauty, fashion, or wellness brands is a big plus
- Strong understanding of Instagram growth strategies (organic + influencer)
- Proven ability to manage content calendars and campaigns from ideation → execution
- Familiar with influencer outreach & UGC sourcing
- Analytical mindset: ability to track social media marketing performance
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Nice-to-have additions:
- Basic knowledge of TikTok content strategy
- Understanding of SEO for social media (IG, TT, YouTube) captions/hashtags
- Familiarity with scheduling tools (Later, Planoly, Buffer, etc.)
- Experience with light video editing (Reels/TikTok format)
Hours & Pay:
- Part-time, flexible — 15 to 20 hours per week to start
- Compensation commensurate with experience
- Independent contractor engagement; scope may expand as the brand grows
