As a Drupal Developer, you’ll work closely with the development team and our VP of Engineering to contribute your expertise in frontend development to enhance the visual and interactive aspects of our Drupal-based projects and create compelling and eye-catching websites. In this freelance/contractor role spanning approximately 4 months, you will be a key player in crafting user-friendly, responsive, and visually appealing web solutions for US-based clients.
3+ years of experience as a Fullstack Drupal Developer with a strong portfolio showcasing successful Drupal projects.
High-level knowledge of PHP, and Symfony framework, with familiarity with Drupal best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines.
Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
Strong communication and collaboration skills. Willingness to present reports to clients if needed
Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
Advanced English level (B2, C1)
Develop new web pages, page templates, and website modules within the Drupal CMS environment.
Integrate and customize third-party tools and services, ensuring seamless functionality.
Write clean, functional code on both the front and back end, adhering to Drupal coding standards and best practices.
Actively participate in team environments, regularly seeking and implementing feedback, focusing on root causes, and striving for continuous improvement.
Lead in proposing just-right solutions for future development, avoiding costly premature decisions.
Adjust site parameters as needed and provide high-speed, reliable site assets.
Offer best practices for site hosting and maintenance, ensuring optimal site performance.
Work with the development team to ensure at least 99% site uptime, implementing measures for reliability.
Troubleshoot any site-loading delays, UI/UX bugs, and other errors or issues as they arise.
Implement site changes and technical team feedback into deliverables, optimizing site performance and functionality.
