AUXILIARY SERVICES ADMINISTRAT (BA-AXAD-IUBLA)
The Campus Auxiliaries Communications and Marketing team manages strategic and operational communications and marketing for the units whose essential services keep IU Bloomington welcoming, running, and thriving. This team supports the goals of IUB 2030, specifically Goal 3, Student Success and Opportunity, Access, Wellness, and Student Support: IUB will foster a student community that stimulates a strong sense of engagement and well-being among all students.
Department Specific Responsibilities
- Works closely with full-time Social Media Specialist, use Meta Business Suite to schedule, manage, and analyze performance across the ecosystem of campus auxiliary social media channels.
- Produces professional-grade visual assets using Adobe Creative Suite and Adobe Express. Write compelling, audience-appropriate copy using IU and AP style guidelines.
- Helps maintain project timelines and stakeholder communication through ClickUp project management system.
- In support of Social Media Specialist and Auxiliaries Communications and Marketing team, acts as a point of contact for auxiliary business units as needed, clearly communicating between comms team and client.
- Works collaboratively with the broader communications team to support synchronized messaging in print media and digital platforms such as websites and email.
EDUCATION
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent (such as HSED or GED)
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
Skills
Required
- Demonstrated experience managing successful social accounts and campaigns
- Fluency in Meta Business Suite for multi-channel management
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) and Adobe Express for rapid content creation
Preferred
- Video production experience
- Familiarity with ClickUp or similar project management platforms
- Experience managing web content via WCMS (Web Content Management System)
- Exposure to Salesforce Marketing Cloud for digital marketing and audience segmentation
This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. This role requires the ability to move objects weighing up to 30 pounds. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.

$15.25 per hour
25 hours per week.
This position is capped at 29 hours.
