Role Description

This is a contract-based Freelance Video Editor/Motion Designer role with a hybrid working model, located in Leesburg, VA, with flexibility for some remote work. The role involves editing and creating video projects, designing motion graphics, and producing high-quality multimedia content for various platforms. Responsibilities also include collaborating with creative teams, ensuring brand consistency, and meeting project deadlines effectively.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Video Editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro
Expertise in Motion Design and Animation using tools like Adobe After Effects
Knowledge of Visual Storytelling, Storyboarding, and post-production editing techniques
Familiarity with Graphic Design and working with Adobe Creative Suite tools
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and adapt quickly to creative briefs
Strong communication and teamwork skills for effective collaboration
Experience with sound editing or color grading is a plus
Relevant certifications or a bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Animation, or related field preferred but not required
