We are a small but mighty staff with 0 full time employees. Mostly made up of part-time, seasonal, and contracted staff.
We primarily operate online with 4 made in Colorado consignment retail locations, dozens of wholesale arrangements, dozens of custom apparel clients, and participate in over 50 events each year.

Role Description
This is a part-time/contractor role for Social Media and Email Marketing Contractor located in Denver, CO. The Contractor will be responsible for assisting in social media marketing channels including creating content, posting weekly, providing a marketing calendar for all content and copy to be used, ad and campaign management, providing excellent ideas, contributing to revenue generating activities, event content support, supporting sales activities, etc.
The individual will help with email marketing which includes weekly emails, email copy and content arrangement, new product launches, event promotions, storytelling, blog support, translating operations into effective storytelling and marketing, and promoting Colorado Threads products, values, mission, community engagement, and giving.
Additional roles include expanding upon our ambassador/affiliate program. We do have a humble network in place, reengaging and expanding this network is essential.
We currently use shopify and mailerlite users so experience or quick learning with these programs will be essential.
We are a mission driven organization - we need someone to get our name, story, and brand out nation and worldwide!
Qualifications
- Strong Customer Service and Communication skills
- Experience in Marketing, Communications, and PR
- Shopify and mailerlite experience a plus!
- Experience with brand ambassadors and affiliate marketing
- Sales skills and ability to promote products effectively
- Ability to work enthusiastically in a team setting and liaise with various stakeholders
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Content creation both copy, photo, video, and effective content calendar organization
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Experience in retail is a plus
- Experience with a B Corp or other mission driven organization is a plus
- Further education in marketing, event planning, or related fields is beneficial
