Key Responsibilities
- Edit and write scientific, technical, and marketing content for clarity, accuracy, and consistency
- Fact-check claims and data against reference materials and validated sources
- Adapt tone and style for diverse audiences, from scientific experts to general readers
- Apply AMA style guidelines and adhere to client/house style standards
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams to confirm accuracy
- Manage multiple deadlines and maintain high editorial quality
Required Qualifications
- Experience as an editor or writer in biotech, pharma, or life sciences
- Ability to edit both scientific and casual marketing content
- Strong fact-checking skills using primary references
- Familiarity with AMA style and client-specific style guides
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
