We’re searching for a sharp, proactive freelance or part-time Digital Marketing Specialist who’s passionate about paid social, digital advertising, and social media management. Someone who thrives on delivering real results and loves seeing campaigns (and clients) succeed. As the Digital Marketing Specialist at PS Media, you will be responsible for strategizing, launching, optimizing, reporting, and adjusting client advertising campaigns across a range of digital platforms.
In this role, individuals will perform many creative, planning, and accounting tasks to ensure PS Media’s clients' advertising efforts are effective. Common duties and responsibilities can include:
- Overseeing the design and content of an advertising campaign to ensure it meets agency standards and lives up to client expectations
- Working with the team to determine a strong digital advertising strategy for each client and prospect
- Launching and running digital advertising campaigns across digital platforms
- Running and monitoring the client's social media accounts and ensuring scheduled content is posted
- Consistently managing, optimizing, and overseeing advertising campaigns to ensure they are achieving results
- Analyzing performance results and creating recommendations for future campaigns
- Creating individualized reports for each client
This position requires the use of various soft skills, technical abilities, and industry knowledge to lead Social and Digital advertising efforts. Common skills and qualifications are:
- In-depth understanding of marketing and advertising best practices, or the willingness to quickly learn this information
- Effective communication, including writing, speaking, active listening, and presenting
- Multitasking and time management skills that allow them to work on several campaigns at once.
- Collaboration skills when working on projects with both clients and team members
- Data analysis and critical thinking skills to review and apply campaign results
- Ability to make effective and efficient decisions when planning, scheduling, and implementing campaigns
- Comfortable using campaign tracking and scheduling software
- Ability to use Microsoft office programs in addition to other computer-aided design tools
- Knowledge of social media and advertising platforms
- Ability to keep up to date on digital and social platform updates
Education/Skills/Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Adverting, or Marketing. Or an Associate Degree with 2 years of relevant experience
- Experience with Google business tools like Analytics and Google is a plus
- Experience with Facebook Advertising, Snapchat Advertising, and Demand-side Platforms is a plus
- Experience running social media accounts is a plus
