Think is seeking a Social Media Content Manager for one of their clients in Baltimore Maryland. This role is responsible for building and managing a dedicated social media program for a digital assets-focused business line. The position will lead the launch of a new presence on Twitter/X, including selecting and implementing technology solutions, developing standard operating procedures, and establishing a clear social content strategy.
After launch, the Social Media Manager will drive reach and engagement by transforming long-form materials, such as research, podcasts, talks, and data, into high-performing, social-first content. This role requires close partnership with compliance teams to ensure all content meets regulatory and approval standards.
This position blends strategic leadership with hands-on execution. The ideal candidate is a crypto-native storyteller with strong social media expertise, familiarity with financial services, and the ability to operate in a highly process-driven environment. They should be organized, detail-oriented, curious, and skilled at project management and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with internal teams to identify technology solutions, workflows, and processes required to support a new social media channel.
- Create, curate, and publish social media content tailored to digital asset audiences.
- Develop and manage ongoing content calendars.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align content with product launches, announcements, and strategic priorities.
- Design visual assets—including charts and graphics—that simplify complex concepts.
- Manage legal, compliance, and retention processes to ensure all social media content meets required standards.
- Track, analyze, and report on social performance metrics to inform content strategy improvements.
- Build repeatable workflows for sourcing, editing, reviews, approvals, and publishing.
- Participate in relevant conversations within the crypto ecosystem to support community engagement.
- Maintain a consistent cadence of high-quality content that elevates the organization’s digital presence.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience.
- 2+ years managing digital marketing or social media programs.
- 2–3 years of strong project management experience.
- Hands-on experience with Twitter/X and other social platforms.
- Ability to work effectively within cross-functional and collaborative teams.
- Strong understanding of social media best practices, platform nuances, and content performance metrics.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into strategic adjustments.
- Excellent writing, communication, time-management, and interpersonal skills.
- Highly self-directed, proactive, and comfortable experimenting and iterating.
- Experience in financial services or digital assets/crypto strongly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using social media management platforms (e.g., X Pro, Sprinklr, Khoros, Hootsuite).
- Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint.
- Experience in community management and engagement within online ecosystems.
