Part-Time Social Media Manager

INK Creative Strategies is a results-driven communications and destination-marketing firm specializing in downtown management, revitalization, tourism, and public relations. We partner with municipalities, Special Improvement Districts (SIDs), Business Improvement Districts (BIDs), and nonprofit organizations to help communities tell their stories, promote local economies, and strengthen their brand presence.
We’re seeking a Part-Time Social Media Manager to join our growing team. This creative and strategic thinker will help develop and manage content for a range of government and nonprofit clients, creating engaging, visually compelling posts and videos that drive community engagement.
What You’ll Do
The Social Media Manager will:
- Plan and execute monthly content calendars across multiple client accounts.
- Create engaging static content, graphics, and short-form videos/reels tailored for each client’s brand voice and audience.
- Write and edit bilingual (English/Spanish preferred) captions and copy for social media posts.
- Coordinate content scheduling and community engagement (comments, DMs, tags).
- Track performance metrics and develop short analytic summaries to guide content strategy.
- Stay up to date on social media trends, audio, and best practices—especially for Instagram and Facebook.
- Collaborate with the CEO and account team to align content with broader PR and marketing campaigns.
What We’re Looking For
- 1–3 years of experience in social media management, marketing, or communications (agency or nonprofit experience preferred)
- Proficiency in Canva, Meta Business Suite, and basic video editing tools (CapCut, InShot, etc.)
- Strong visual and written storytelling skills
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and the Adobe Creative Suite preferred
- Understanding of content strategy and audience engagement
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple clients and deadlines
- Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus
- Must have access to reliable transportation; some travel between offices required
