About the Role:
Are you a talented and motivated developer interested in building something innovative at the intersection of fashion and technology? We are a new fashion tech startup focused on transforming the way people style and shop online. We’re in the early stages of product development and looking for a freelance full-stack developer (or strong front-end dev with AI familiarity) to help bring our MVP to life.
This is a contract position with flexible hours and the potential to evolve into a long-term technical lead or cofounder role for the right person.
What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate closely with the founder to define, build, and refine the MVP
- Develop a modern, responsive web application (React or Next.js preferred)
- Integrate image upload, preview, and styling features
- Prototype basic 3D or 360° visual elements (using available AI/AR tools or APIs)
- Suggest and implement scalable architecture and cloud solutions (AWS, Firebase, etc.)
- Participate in product feedback loops and iterate quickly
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of experience in front-end or full-stack web development
- Proficiency in React, Next.js, or similar modern front-end frameworks
- Solid back-end experience with Node.js, Firebase, or Python (FastAPI preferred)
- Familiarity with image rendering, AI APIs (like DALL·E, Stable Diffusion, or MediaPipe)
- Strong UI/UX sensibility and ability to build clean, responsive layouts
- Self-starter mindset with strong communication and reliability
Bonus If You Have:
- Experience with 3D modeling, AR/VR, or virtual try-on tools
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP) and deployment pipelines
- Past experience working on fashion, styling, or creative tech platforms
- Interest in becoming a long-term technical partner or cofounder
Location:
Remote – U.S. based preferred but open to global applicants
Compensation:
Hourly or project-based; negotiable based on experience. Open to equity discussions if there's long-term interest.
