Our healthcare client is seeking a Content Publisher to help with a Content Migration Project starting in June. The migration project will take up to 24-months kicking off mid-June. There will likely be lulls in work between site migrations working an average of 33 hours per week.
The client has moved to a new Sitecore environment and needs the content from up to 9 existing websites (up to 14,600 pages) including text, images, documents, links, alt text and media files to be migrated. YOU MUST HAVE SITECORE MIGRATION EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED.
The Content Publisher will be responsible for building Sitecore pages and migrating content, images, documents, alt tags and media from the current website pages and provided Word documents and entering them into Sitecore pages. They reconcile any differences between the current page and new pages, or provided Word document, and escalate any major changes to the Lead Content Publisher.
Content Publisher Capabilities
- Experience building pages in Sitecore: will be provided with the needed components and required layout needs either via a Word document or the current website
- Review content mapping documentation: understand content map as provided so as to ensure a smooth efficient migration.
- Content migration process: adherence to defined process as outlined and managed by Lead.
- Quality Assurance check: reviewing migrated content to ensure completion and accuracy.
- Timeline Adherence: tracking personal progress against daily/weekly content publishing targets. Must be fast, accurate and proficient in order to hit page count goals per day/week.
- Status reporting: reporting any challenges that may delay target achievement and progress reports.
- Experience with Jira: team will be integrated into the client s instance of JIRA and will review and track progress in the tool
Content Publisher Responsibilities
- Sitecore CMS Proficiency: strong understanding of Sitecore functionality and templates.
- Make recommendations to Lead on template elements used when content is not a perfect fit.
- Content migration experience: understanding of content migration best practices to ensure an efficient daily approach to migration.
- Time management skills: self-motivated to meet daily/weekly target page migration goals.
