We are seeking a motivated Junior Copywriter to join retailers creative team. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development of compelling copy for various marketing channels, focusing on enhancing the customer experience and driving engagement.
This role will sit onsite in Dayton, OH 40 hours a week Monday through Friday. This role will be 6+ months with the opportunity to extend.
Key Responsibilities
- Create engaging and persuasive copy for eCommerce platforms, product descriptions, and marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to ensure alignment of messaging and branding.
- Assist in the development of content strategies that resonate with our target audience.
- Conduct research on industry trends and customer preferences to inform copy decisions.
- Edit and proofread copy to ensure clarity, grammar, and consistency across all platforms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, English, or a related field.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Familiarity with eCommerce platforms and product copy best practices is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Creative thinking and a passion for storytelling.
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
