Our client, a leading company in the toy / games industry, is looking for an Industrial Designer to assist the team in a hybrid setting in Succasunna, NJ. The Industrial Designer will work 40 hours a week for two months with Mondays and Fridays working from home. The Industrial Designer will be working with and reporting to the VP of Product and Design.
Responsibilities
- Using knowledge of industrial design, taking existing designs, remaking them and producing flat artwork files
- Successfully create product dielines adhering to model dimensions
- Work cross-functionally with design team and other departments to ensure seamless design and development process
Requirements
- Portfolio of work to showcase product design (bonus if previous work with toys/sporting goods)
- Knowledge of product design/development
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Illustrator and Photoshop)
- Detail-oriented and strong organization skills, willingness to dive into tasks
- Enjoys and excels in creating innovative and visually appealing designs
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
