We are a SERVPRO® franchise, part of a trusted national leader in fire, water, mold, and storm damage restoration. We pride ourselves on quick response times, expert service, and supporting our community. We're seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Assistant to help elevate our digital presence while staying aligned with the SERVPRO brand.

The Social Media Assistant will support our marketing efforts by planning, creating, and managing engaging content across all major platforms. This person will be responsible for keeping our local franchise top-of-mind in our community while following SERVPRO brand guidelines and voice. A mix of creativity, organization, and industry awareness is key.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain a monthly social media content calendar (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.)
Create branded graphics, reels, and posts using SERVPRO-approved templates and tools (e.g., Canva, Brandfolder)
Schedule and publish content consistently, using tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, or Meta Business Suite
Monitor engagement (comments, messages, tags) and respond professionally and timely
Promote community involvement, team highlights, job photos (when approved), before/after transformations, and local sponsorships
Coordinate with production team to gather photos/videos from job sites (when permitted)
Track and report key social metrics and adjust strategies to improve performance
Stay aligned with corporate branding guidelines and marketing initiatives
Research industry and local trends to keep content relevant and engaging

Qualifications:

1+ years of social media experience (internship, freelance, or in-house)
Strong understanding of Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and short-form video (Reels/TikTok)
Graphic design experience (Canva required, Adobe Suite a plus)
Clear, professional writing and grammar skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet posting deadlines
Self-starter with attention to detail and creative thinking
Photography/videography/editing skills are a plus
Familiarity with SERVPRO branding or restoration industry a plus, but not required

Job Types: Part-time, Internship

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 15 per week
