Skinfix creates clinical and clean skincare tested and recommended by unbiased dermatologists. We are dedicated to tackling the root causes of stubborn skin concerns with clinically proven solutions—trusted by experts and loved by those who need real results.
Our Marketing team is looking for a contract copywriter to help bring a new brand voice to life across all consumer touch points—from packaging, to P-pages, to email. This role will play a key part in crafting compelling, on-brand messaging that resonates with our audience. You would report to our Director of Product Marketing and Brand Strategy.
Deliverables:
- Descriptive copy for 30 ingredients (75 characters each)
- Amazon PDP copy for 20 products
- Sephora PDP copy for 22 products
- PDP tile copy for 25 products
- Updated secondary packaging copy for 16 products
Expectations:
- Maintain a consistent, cohesive, and intentional brand voice
- Vet all copy through our regulatory team to ensure compliance across all markets
- Work with retail marketing to deliver best-in-class copy optimized for each channel
- Collaborate with SEO agencies, optimizing as much as possible while also assisting with editing and proofreading to ensure clarity, accuracy, and brand consistency
- Availability to come into our NYC office to work through copy roadblocks a plus
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Creative Writing, or a related field.
- Exceptional writing, proofreading, and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple projects efficiently.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, cross-functional environments with a level of ambiguity.
- Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality, brand-aligned copy.
- Familiarity with industry best practices, regulatory constraints, and SEO guidelines.
- 2+ years of copywriting experience with a brand OR at least 1 year of brand copywriting experience combined with editorial experience.
- Beauty experience; Sephora experience and/or editorial experience is a plus.
- Portfolio of writing samples demonstrating engaging, brand-aligned copy is a plus.
