WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?We’re looking for a Creative Director of Design—part visionary, part systems thinker, full-on creative partner. You’ll lead the design direction across all Yellow Pebble projects, ensuring every brand we shape is not only stunning, but strategic.
You’ll report directly to the CEO, work hand-in-hand with our copy, strategy, and marketing teams, and lead a small but mighty design crew. This isn’t a “hover and review” role—we’re looking for someone who still loves to get into Figma, sketch systems, push pixels, and bring big ideas to life.
THE KIND OF WORK YOU’LL LEADThis role is deeply rooted in B2B tech—from fast-moving growth startups to established global platforms. Your design leadership will shape:
- Internal branding for enterprise transformation initiatives
- Investor and sales pitch decks that turn complexity into clarity
- Marketing websites and landing pages that convert
- Employer branding assets that attract and align talent
- Strategic campaigns for launches, rebrands, and global GTM programs

RESPONSIBILITIES- Lead the design vision across branding, campaigns, product storytelling, and marketing initiatives
- Build and evolve visual identity systems for B2B tech brands—from logo to layout
- Translate complex technical offerings into intuitive, impactful visual expressions
- Collaborate with copywriters, strategists, and marketers to create unified brand experiences
- Present work to clients and guide them through the creative process
- Provide mentorship and direction to a team of designers and freelance collaborators
- Ensure design excellence and consistency across all assets and touchpoints
- Contribute hands-on to key deliverables—visual frameworks, decks, websites, social content, and more
- Support in new business pitches, proposals, and creative strategy sessions
- Stay sharp on design trends, tools, and creative technologies (including AI)
MUST-HAVE SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS- Proven experience as a creative/design lead, ideally within branding or marketing for B2B tech
- A portfolio that demonstrates a strong design POV, exceptional craft, and versatility across mediums
- Deep understanding of brand systems, digital design, and user-centered storytelling
- Ability to translate strategic insights into compelling design directions
- Confident presenting and defending creative work to both internal teams and clients
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally (copy, dev, marketing, etc.)
- Advanced skills in Figma, Adobe CC, and familiarity with tools like Notion, Google Suite
- Experience using AI design tools such as Midjourney, DALL·E, Adobe Firefly, Runway, Khroma, etc.
- 12+ years of design experience, with at least 8+ years in the B2B tech space
- 6+ years leading and mentoring design teams
- 2+ years incorporating AI tools into the creative workflow
- Current portfolio required with application
