Freelance Creative Marketing Copywriter (SHORT-FORM, Part-Time, Project-Based)

Are you a sharp, creative copywriter with a marketer’s brain and a strong portfolio to prove it? Robert Half's client is looking for a freelance Creative Marketing Copywriter to join their team and support day-to-day content needs across a variety of projects and audiences.
This is a part-time, project-based freelance role with flexible hours (15–24 hours/week). You can work on your own time, but must have some weekday availability to collaborate with their team.
What You’ll Do
Write punchy, engaging short-form copy for marketing materials like:
- Social media graphics
- Brochures & flyers
- Email copy & drip campaigns
- Web pages & landing pages
- Recruitment materials (e.g. open house events)
- Ad headlines and taglines
- Brainstorm and concept creative ideas based on briefs
- Collaborate with the creative team on both one-off needs and longer-term, multi-channel campaign messaging
- Contribute to developing overarching creative themes and branded content strategies
Who You Are
- A well-rounded copywriter with strong creative marketing writing chops
- Skilled at writing concise, impactful headlines and calls-to-action
- Comfortable switching between B2C and B2B tones across varied audiences
- Experienced in creative concepting—not just writing, but thinking big-picture
- healthcare a plus but not required
- Portfolio required: Must showcase marketing-focused copywriting (not long-form/blog-heavy)
