The Senior Director, Marketing Management, is responsible for leading the day-to-day management of programs, including marketing campaign development, digital technology management of owned platforms, project management and overseeing extension ideation for State Beef Council partners. This position will help to build brand awareness for one of the most iconic brands in history – Beef. It’s What’s For Dinner. This position is part of the Brand Marketing team and reports to the Senior Executive Director, Brand Marketing. The Senior Director, Marketing Management, will work cross-functionally in the development of consumer marketing campaigns, website content and other digital consumer touchpoints, like email campaigns that increase brand awareness and the positive perceptions of beef. Responsibilities will be executed in accordance with the beef industry’s Long-Range Plan and NCBA’s Marketing and Communications strategy and tactics.

Marketing Campaign Development

Manage the creation of consumer facing marketing content for Beef. it’s What’s For Dinner. such as videos, print collateral, digital and audio ads and other visual assets ensuring alignment with brand messaging.
- Review and analyze the effectiveness of creative content across different channels and adjust strategies based on performance data to improve consumer engagement and meet overall brand marketing goals.
- Manage day-to-day relationships and communications with agencies and freelance partners.

Review and approve all creative assets to ensure all brand work maintains brand consistency in terms of tone, style and messaging across marketing channels.

Work with cross-functional teams to identify content needs, opportunities for collaboration and ways to extend work done in other areas across channels creating efficiencies and ensuring a consistent message.

Utilize consumer market research information to determine the strongest messages for Beef. It’s What’s For dinner. marketing efforts and work with internal research teams to test creative with consumers for better results.
Digital Technology Management

Guide content strategy execution for owned marketing platforms including YouTube, website and e-newsletters ensuring a cohesive digital presence.
- Oversee the development and planning for BeefItsWhatsForDinner.com ensuring key metrics are met and it’s optimized for SEO.

Lead the monitoring and optimizing of email marketing campaigns to generate engagement and drive higher metrics.

Grow database of loyal subscribers by serving up value-based content working to continuously drive consumer to the website.
- Provide guidance on the Digital Asset Management System clean up and updates.
Project Management

Oversee the creative workflow, including timelines, approval and revisions. Managing multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
- Utilize project management platform and content calendars to develop yearly plan for development and rollout of campaigns, assets and creative. Ensure on time deliverables.

Oversee a $2 million annual budget related to brand content development including contracting and invoicing and tracking.
- Manage and track buying/licensing of content and talent for video, audio and photography.

Ensure content developed for consumer facing campaigns follows brand and USDA guidelines.
State Beef Council Extension
Leadership and Administration

Play a key role in annual program planning including assisting to build funding requests, developing an annual plan, evaluating programs and measuring effectiveness.
- Frequently provide presentation input and serve as a spokesperson at various industry and stakeholder meetings.

Lead and mentor internal team, including video and photography and content team members, fostering collaboration and professional growth.

Stays abreast of the latest consumer marketing trends and technology, web strategy and other disciplines that intersect with brand creative.
- Moderate travel.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION - Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field.
- EXPERIENCE – 7-10 years in marketing management role. Food communication and/or agency experience a plus. Experience managing budgets, design, MarTech and marketing operations.
