Join our team at DuMouchelles as our Part-time Digital Marketing Specialist, where you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our brand’s presence across multiple channels. This role combines creativity, marketing expertise, and analytical skills to enhance our auction house's promotional and sales efforts. You'll help develop our marketing strategy, create engaging content, manage our digital presence, and showcase our merchandise through compelling storytelling.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, propose and present an overall marketing strategy, budget and metrics, with the goal of increasing buyer and seller customer engagement.
Digital Media and Advertising – drive presence and increase engagement:
- Develop engaging and creative content across all platforms
- Design and coordinate print and digital advertising with all third parties
- Stay current with social media trends and best practices and recommend improvements
- Design, present and implement new social media campaign ideas
- Produce compelling photo and video content.
- Monitor performance metrics and optimize strategies.
- Monitor, research and respond to customer reviews on all platforms timely and with approved messaging.
Analytics and Reporting:
- KPIs – design, propose and publish KPI dashboard; Present monthly KPIs each quarter to management.
- Track ROI across marketing initiatives and budget v. actual.
- Present findings and recommendations.
- Manage and update company database, including managing customer and target mailing lists, de-duping and adding customers (email and snail mail); Experiment with brochure and prospect lists based on our ICP.
- Gain a deep understanding of our business and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive marketing efforts and brand messaging.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 5+ years’ social media marketing and content creation experience.
- Demonstrated track record of growing brand engagement.
- Active social media presence demonstrating marketing expertise.
- Experience with email marketing and automation tools.
- Strong photography and video editing skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to be hands on and think strategically.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Marketing or related field.
- Experience working in a marketplace or auction industry.
- Interest in the arts and/or auction industry.
Schedule:
- 15-20 hours per week, on-site.
- Flexible scheduling Tuesday – Saturday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM.
- Must be available during monthly auction deadlines.
