We are seeking an experienced instructor to deliver classes in project management, systems engineering, and software engineering on an occasional basis. Some classes are virtual, some are in person in the vicinity of BWI Airport in Maryland. This work is by contract, in the 7th year of a 10 year run. Please do not apply if you reside outside the commuting radius of BWI, cannot deliver in-person classes, or desire more than occasional work. This work would be ideal for post-retirement activities and to share your working career knowledge.
The training courses you will deliver are structured with course objectives and well-constructed course flow. They include instructors notes and narrative, with ample flex to insert your real-world experiences. Some courses have group exercises. Attendees to these courses are early-to-mid career professionals in a variety of fields, from junior project managers, to technology planners and developers, to support staff. Classes may be scheduled periodically, depending on demand and availability, typically 1x month.
You must be a US person and fluent in English. You do not need a US Gov security clearance, although having one will open the opportunity to deliver more and different classes. Please do NOT include a cover letter, only a resume in .pdf format. Cover letters will not be read. An in-person interview is required.
