Phillip Jeffries is looking for a Freelance Graphic Designer to support in all areas of content marketing development. This individual is fulfilling the needs of our Senior Graphic Designer during maternity leave. We’re looking for someone who is an agile, steadfast performer that can multitask, be open to feedback and collaboration, and picks up direction quickly with a “Find A Way” mentality.
This role will report to our Creative Director and will work a hybrid schedule at our Fairfield, NJ Office.
Create Visual Assets
- Design graphics for digital and print marketing materials, including brochures, email campaigns, and social media posts, etc.
Brand Consistency
- Ensure all designs align with the company’s branding guidelines and maintain a cohesive visual identity across all platforms.
Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing and other internal teams to understand project goals and provide creative input for campaigns.
Project Management
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
Feedback Incorporation
- Revise designs based on feedback from team members and stakeholders to achieve the desired outcome.
Market Research
- Stay updated on design trends and industry standards to keep the company’s visual content fresh and appealing.
File Management
- Organize and maintain library of design files, assets, and templates for easy access by the team.
Presentation Design
- Create engaging presentations for internal and external needs, ensuring clarity and impact.
Collaboration with Vendors
- Liaise with print and production vendors to ensure high-quality output of printed materials.
Analytics Review
- Analyze the performance of visual content and suggest improvements based on data insights.
Training Support
- Provide guidance to junior designers on best practices in design and software use, if applicable.
Adaptability
- Quickly adapt to new projects and design requests that may arise during the maternity leave period.
Requirements:
- Must be based in New Jersey, preferably in the Fairfield, NJ area.
- 5+ years of professional experience in graphic design, preferably in a marketing or agency environment
- Comprehensive experience in using the Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator
- Strong portfolio of a diverse range of design projects
- Experience understanding and implementing brand guides
- Proficient in file processing best practices
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
