Position: Copywriter
Employment Type: Freelance | 40 hours/week
Duration: 1-2 months, with a possible extension
Location: Remote

Hourly Rate: $45-50/hr
Our client, a creative, strategy and technology agency, is looking to bring on a strong conceptual copywriter to support the creation of big idea creative concepts for a QSR client.
They should have a knack for understanding consumer behaviors, cultural trends, technology and how to best reach consumers where they are. When briefed, the Copywriter should have a partner mentality, working and collaborating closely with an Art Director or Designer in delivering compelling creative solutions.
We’re looking for a “what-if” thinker and this person shouldn’t be held back by convention or norm and push and think beyond the expected.
And lastly, we’re looking for someone with a proven ability to confidently share and articulate their ideas to the team while providing insight that backs up the work.
Project And Role Overview
– Conceptual copywriter working Calendar Planning Initiative: Developing campaign ideas for the upcoming year.
– This includes creating a full 360° customer experience
Must Have Background And Skills
- Should be conceptual, not just executional.
- Prefer someone with QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) experience and/or experience in kids’ marketing.
- Must help define the “big idea” and carry it through various campaign elements.
- Must go beyond traditional ad formats like TV and radio.
- Experience working on: Headlines, Narrative building, Deck writing (long-form explanations of ideas), Taglines, Social and digital platform adaptations, etc.
- 2-4 years as a Copywriter in an agency or brand space.
- Strong conceptual abilities — able to generate and come up with thought-provoking ideas.
- Killer portfolio with examples of projects that back up your creative thinking.
- Exceptional writing skills (ability to write in multiple voices, captivating headlines and fluid, engaging copy)
