Position Overview

Our global beauty client is looking for an Art Director to start this month, 40 hours per week, for at least 8 months.The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and overseeing the visual aspects of various projects, ensuring that all designs align with the brand's vision and objectives. This role requires a strong blend of artistic vision, project management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing branded assets including fliers, brochures, cards, signage, presentations, web and social content, and campaign materials.
• Develop sketches, storyboards, rough layouts, and final design executions.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging content for social media platforms.
• Support development of packaging artwork for beauty and consumer products, ensuring brand alignment and manufacturability.
• Mentor and guide junior designers, providing constructive feedback and fostering their professional growth.
• Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new design techniques into projects.
  
  

Qualifications

• 2 - 5 years' professional design experience in-house or at an agency.
• Bachelor's degree
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator; familiarity with web or motion tools a plus
• Strong portfolio showcasing clean, thoughtful design across multiple channels and mediums
• Thrives in fast-paced, collaborative, and purpose-driven environment
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to take direction, learn quickly, and work collaboratively across departments
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Enthusiastic and curious mindset with a passion for design, branding, and storytelling
