Overview
The Visual Designer role contributes to the overall definition and execution of all creative deliverables on various platforms, in alignment to the clients existing Design System. You will be responsible for defining, evangelizing, and driving the implementation of the overall design vision for the client's products. You will contribute to TD’s visual design principles and will maintain visual design frameworks for our products. You know the experience design process from end to end and can act as a leader in the development of the complete range of visual design artifacts. You are adept at working with multiple stakeholders and comfortable working collaboratively with experience design team members from a team of creatives from diverse disciplines and industries. A balanced understanding of strategy, usability, interaction, and visual design is a must.
Responsibilities
Create stunning branded visual design concepts and solutions for responsive web, (iOS and Android - if on mobile teams)
Collaborate closely with UX designers, copywriters, design researchers, creative technologists, product owners and mobile developers
Effective communication of conceptual ideas, detailed designs, and design approaches/rationales
Participate in design reviews and iterate based on feedback and creative direction all the way through execution
Ensure quality assurance of all creative deliverables
Working closely to ensure feasibility of designs
Participate in Ideation, concept development and experience innovation
Stay abreast of current design methodologies, practices and trends
Experience in working in agile methodologies
Participation in observational studies, usability testing and other customer research
Qualifications
Ideal candidate:
3-5 years of experience in content design
Comfortability in a client-facing role
Abilty to present work to client stakeholders
Proficient in FIGMA
Experience working in an agile environment
Strong experience with prototyping
Proficiency in Figma and Adobe CC
UI website focus as opposed to campaign
Experience prototyping in Figma
Examples in Website vs advertising campaign work
Nice To Have
Financial Service Industry experience a plus, but not required
ADA compliance

Compensation Range: $47/hr-$55/hr. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
