Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Junior Art Director with experience in and passion for visual communication in static and motion mediums, to help generate consumer facing product storytelling content across multiple consumer channels.

Freelance salary rate: $50-60/hr

This role is hybrid: 3 days in office, 2 days remote.

Office Location: Long Beach or Los Angeles, CA

Responsibilities

• Use channel strategy, insights, and business objectives to help form groundbreaking ideas and visual executions that make a real impact on the target audience for each project.
• Work closely with our creative, account, strategy and production teams to concept and create bold, industry–leading consumer content programs
• Help to develop visual direction for content live action, still imagery & motion design via storyboards / mood boards / style frames
• Bring ideas and strategic thinking to creative execution to drive results
• Understanding the application of Brand systems for consistency and integrity of the creative vison. (both online and offline)
• Attend and contribute to photo and video shoots
• Participate in regular creative reviews and embrace constructive feedback
• Add to an evolving team of likeminded, passionate, and talented individuals
• Manage clean working files for seamless collaboration between internal creative team and resources. Not limited to resizing and versioning.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, digital design or equivalent experience
• 1-3 years experience in a creative agency or creative team (an excellent portfolio will be considered as equivalent)
• Eagerness to learn
• Able to collaborate within a team structure consisting of fellow creatives, strategists, product specialists, account and project management
• You have a passion for design, creativity and technology
• Possess an excellent sensibility for photography, illustration, and typography
• Understanding of Motion Graphics and/or working with CGI a huge plus but not required
• A deep attention to detail and a dedication to proper delivery
• Quick to adapt through proactive problem solving, work with a sense of urgency
• Expert skills in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office and Figma

US Pay Range

$50—$60 USD
