KPMG is working through its partnership with MBO Partners and is currently seeking a remote contractor in the United States.



Marketing Manager

The purpose of this role is to provide robust, proactive project and marketing support for two key programs within KPMG’s advisory practice intended to promote KPMG’s consulting services at both the thematic level and buyer level. The person in this position will work closely with the marketing directors who oversee these programs. Ideally the candidate will manage certain aspects of the campaign independently. The candidate will work on multiple projects with varied steps, stakeholders, timelines, etc., and therefore will need to have strong project management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the lifecycle of creating, activating, tracking, and reporting on items such as, but not limited to:
  • Content: Manage the creation of research-based thought leadership, bespoke whitepapers, surveys, POVs, slip sheets, reports, client emails and the like to key audiences.
  • Digital: Work with various internal and external teams to plan, execute, and manage multichannel campaigns (e.g., social media, paid search, programmatic display, sponsored content, content syndication, nurture emails)
  • Events: Execute podcasts, webcasts, sponsorships, in-person and virtual events that range from intimate to large scale.
  • Research: Leverage primary or secondary research as part of its foundation for messaging, content and market themes.
  • The candidate will collaborate across multiple groups and stakeholders, supporting the approach from strategy to execution to optimization. Incorporate a variety of input from creative, research, advertising, and sales teams. Share key milestone updates and results with campaign lead and project sponsors. Monitor and analyze the performance of the campaigns in conjunction with the program director.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Marketing or business with related marketing experience.
  • Minimum 3 years marketing experience
  • Significant experience in multifaceted marketing project management, execution, and optimization
  • Strong project management skills including the ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects with competing levels of priority and rigorous deadlines
  • Detail oriented to know the various program elements and orchestrate their movement/timing/cost, yet able to step back and see the big picture and tie the pieces together to know where to focus efforts.
  • Ability to develop PowerPoint presentations, reports, etc. with a professional look and feel
  • A drive for accuracy, a natural curiosity for why and how results are achieved, and what to do with what we’ve learned, understand when to escalate issues, ability to follow through, ability to develop collaborative relationships
  • Experience analyzing data at a high level (not seeking an analyst) to see trends and report on outcomes; partner with internal analytics teams to develop the story
  • Must be able to work with minimal direction; proactive communication and project management is a must
  • Professional and confident phone/video presence; be able to lead meetings when necessary, coordinate, document, and assign tasks. Executive presence – comfort speaking to senior leaders.
  • Desired but not required skills include B2B marketing experience, creative/professional writing/editing skills, advanced Excel skills, familiarity with Aprimo, Salesforce and/or Salesforce analytics tools (Einstein, Google Analytics 360), experience with AI tools (Copilot, Writer, Chat GPT, etc.), data analysis experience, Big 4 or related experience, knowledge of the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement, and experience with trade shows/sponsored events and their various elements of success
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold the firm’s respectful and courteous work environment
