SENIOR CONTENT WRITER
We're on the hunt for a seasoned content writer—someone who loves the craft of writing and has written across various industries for five or more years.
You straddle the line between informative, creative and strategic: you are a true craftsperson when it comes to writing. You’ll write for websites, brochures, sell sheets, emails, and more—providing snappy but informative copy that connects with real people (not technical writing). You’re someone who can switch tone and format with ease and handle everything from educational advertorials to deeper web content.
Expect to work across a variety of clients in our b2b categories, notably animal health, agriculture, equipment and/or manufacturing. No press releases or media pitching needed this time—just solid, strategic writing that supports our agency teams behind the scenes. Looking for someone available 20-25 hours a week to start and open to a long-term freelance situation.
THIS IS FOR YOU IF…
- You have experience and/or knowledge in these or similar industries; animal production, animal health, row crops, heavy equipment, healthcare
- Ideally you have 5 years + of experience creating content in a similar fashion
- You are well-versed in AP Style
- You are open to occasional travel (maybe one or two trips per year)
- You have a passion for and experience in content gathering and writing for a variety of communication channels including collateral, emails, websites, internal communications and presentations
- You have experience writing about technical or scientific subject mattes and enjoy the research that goes into it
- You can provide writing samples similar to the types mentioned above
