Content Specialists (Freelance)

As part of our continued growth, we're seeking a seasoned Senior Content Writer to collaborate with us on an ongoing freelance basis, developing content that elevates brand voice, builds audience engagement, and supports our clients' strategic objectives.

This freelance remote role targets an hourly rate between $65 - 75 USD/hr DoE. Senior-level freelancers with previous content writing experience for Microsoft or other global technology clients will be given preferential status.

Senior Presentation Designer (Freelance)

Responsibilities

• Strategic Writing: Craft clear, compelling, and on-brand copy for various content types, including web pages, email campaigns, blog posts, product copy, eBooks, social media, and presentation narratives.
• Content Development: Translate complex subject matter, often technical or B2B product information, into digestible, engaging narratives tailored to target audiences.
• Editorial Excellence: Proofread and edit content for grammar, tone, structure, and accuracy. Ensure alignment with brand guidelines, messaging strategies, and client voice.
• Collaboration: Partner with creative directors, designers, marketing strategists, and account teams to ensure content is cohesive, effective, and integrated across channels.
• Research & Insights: Conduct research as needed to deepen understanding of client industries, audiences, competitors, and trends.
• Voice and Tone Stewardship: Help define and uphold editorial tone, style, and consistency across deliverables.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Independent and Reliable: Able to manage tasks and time independently while keeping pace with project timelines and collaborative workflows.
• Proven Expertise: At least 7 years of professional content writing experience, preferably within an agency or in-house creative team settings.
• Strong Portfolio: Demonstrated success writing for enterprise clients, ideally within the tech, B2B, or SaaS space.
• Versatile Writing Skills: Ability to tailor voice and style across different content types and audiences.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional grammar, spelling, syntax, and editorial precision.
• Collaborative Mindset: Strong communication skills and the ability to receive and incorporate feedback fluidly.
• Adaptable and Fast-paced: Comfortable operating in agile and evolving project environments, sometimes with quick turnarounds.
  
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience writing for Microsoft or other enterprise technology brands
• Familiarity with inclusive language practices and accessibility standards in content
• Experience collaborating with globally distributed, cross-functional teams.
• Comfort working with creative briefs, brand guidelines, and messaging frameworks
