This role is a 40 hour/week freelance to fulltime opportunity that is hybrid in Orlando, FL.
Junior Graphic Designer Overview
This role will report to the Creative Director and will support the design of digital and print materials.
Junior Graphic Designer Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior design staff and design leads to develop creative concepts for digital and print materials, including websites, social media graphics, advertisements, brochures, and more
- Support the creation and maintenance of branding materials, style guides, and visual assets
- Assist in the creation of design solutions that align with brand guidelines, ensuring consistency and clarity across all platforms
- Prepare design files for both digital and print production, ensuring all specifications and quality standards are met.
Junior Graphic Designer Qualifications
- A Degree in Graphic Design or similar field.
- Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, Visual Designer, or in a similar role.
- Strong portfolio that demonstrates creativity, attention to detail, and a range of design skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and other relevant design tools.
- Understanding of design principles such as typography, color theory, and layout.
- Ability to work collaboratively with senior design staff, marketing teams, and other stakeholders.
- Familiarity with printing processes and file preparation for production.
Extra Preferred Skills
" Experience at an advertising agency, retail brands or hospitality brands are preferred/highly desired.
" Experience with motion graphics, video editing, or 3D design is a plus.
" Knowledge of HTML/CSS and basic web development is a plus.
" Experience with web design principles, including basic UI/UX concepts, is a plus.
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
