Church Photographer/Videographer
Location: One Accord Church, Va Beach, Va.
Time Commitment: Sundays (1.5 hours), occasional events
Compensation: Small stipend available
Job Overview
One Accord Church is seeking a skilled and passionate photographer/videographer to capture the heart of our worship services and children's ministry for social media and outreach purposes. This role is ideal for someone who loves storytelling through visuals and wants to use their talents to help expand our digital presence.
Responsibilities
-Capture high-quality photos and videos during Sunday worship (9:15 AM – 10:30 AM)
-Take engaging images of the Children’s Ministry to highlight their joy and participation
-Edit and organize photos/videos for social media, website, and promotional materials
-Ensure proper lighting and framing to enhance visual storytelling
-Work closely with the media team to align with the church’s branding and content needs
-Occasionally attend and document special events (e.g., baptisms, community outreach)
Requirements
✔ Experience in photography and/or videography (professional or freelance)
✔ Ability to capture engaging candid and staged shots in a live event setting
✔ Basic photo/video editing skills preferred (e.g., Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro)
✔ Owns camera equipment (preferred, but we have a camera available)
✔ Comfortable working in a church environment and capturing moments of worship
