Graphic Designer + Production

Position Overview

Our upscale restaurant client is seeking a talented Graphic Designer with strong production skills for a 2-month freelance assignment with a high potential for extension. This role offers 40 hours per week in a hybrid capacity, working 1-2 days a week onsite in Downer's Grove. Hybrid days are Mondays, Tuesdays and/or Wednesdays.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and production for a variety of consumer facing print and digital projects spanning emails, flyers, menus, graphics for websites and emails, logos, mood boards for photoshoots etc. (approximately 60% production and 40% more strategic design)
• Ensure all designs align with existing brand guidelines and maintain brand consistency.
• Utilize Adobe Creative Suite and Figma to produce high-quality design work.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and budget constraints.
• Think strategically to generate creative ideas to flesh campaigns out across the various deliverables.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• MUST be proficient using Figma for email design
• Strong portfolio showcasing previous graphic design work.
• Experience in production design and understanding of print and digital media formats.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
