Content Creator / Designer (Higher ED) - Social Content

Our higher education client is looking to hire a temp to perm Content Creator to join their growing team.

This is a hybrid opportunity, 40hrs/week leaning more remote but onsite campus visits (in the Bronx and lower Westchester) will be required about 1x/week to capture relevant content of student life to be used for social media.

This Content Creator (Design + Copy) will:

• Concept, design/create social media posts for a variety of platforms including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook
• Visit each campus to capture content (photos, videos, short interactions with students etc)
• Develop social media copy to engage target audiences and supporting visual content posts across platforms
• Work closely with creative team to execute campaigns to align with brand standards and guidelines
• Design (resize/revise) marketing collateral for admission events and other special projects as directed (flyers, brochures etc)
• Ability to review performance metrics to optimize and increase engagement on social content
  
  

Requirements

• 2-4+ years experience creating social media content (including static, short videos, photo etc)
• copywriting experience writing for social media
• Understanding of trends and engagement on social platforms
• Curious to learn about new technologies such as AI and how bring ideas to team on how to utilize
• Proficiency in Creative Suite (primarily InDesign and Photoshop)
• Experience iterating on copy to match design/content collateral
• Experience designing within brand guidelines
• Experience designing for campaigns and brand activations
