YOUR IMPACT
As a Freelance Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for creating engaging and impactful designs across a variety of programs with different content and audience needs. You will deliver effective, aesthetic, on-brand, and on-strategy creative collateral for websites, marketing campaigns, social media, events, and more.
This is not a full-time job posting or immediate opportunity – you would be engaged on a by-project contract basis as future opportunities arise.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with our Creative Director and Senior designer to produce standardized annual reports, fillable pdf and PowerPoint templates, engaging marketing documents, eye-catching social media campaigns, and other digital collateral
- Actively participate in creative ideation and review process
- Ensure consistency of design across collateral and maintain highest standards of brand compliance throughout all work
- Work on existing files, and create new ones, using consistent structural elements like parent pages, columns and guidelines, styles, and established libraries of brand assets
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
Must have:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Certification in related field, and/or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years professional design experience
- Familiarity with design techniques, critiques, and processes
- Understanding of visual elements, including layout, typography, and fonts
- Experience working with brand guidelines to execute designs and collateral
- Strong portfolio of work
- Excellent attention to detail
- Collaborative work style, able to incorporate feedback from constructive reviews, creatively problem solve, and iterate on existing documents
- Experience with design software, including the Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign and Illustrator, in particular
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Office 365) products such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
