Copywriter - Short Form

Our insurance client in Dallas is looking for a Copywriter! This HYBRID (2 days per week), freelance assignment starts in early April, 40 hours a week, open-ended.

The Copywriter will be writing short-form copy for ads, web, and social media.

Copywriter Requirements

• 3 + years experience
• Experience writing short form digital content including social media
• Agency experience is a huge plus
• Strong paid-media and social experience
• Savvy with scripting short form content (both explainer videos for our commercial customers and more narrative pieces for our individual customers)
• Experienced with drafting blogs or SEO-driven content
• Ability to write conceptual copy and develop ideas or key messages into campaigns
• Familiarity with compliance-driven industries (finance, healthcare, etc) a plus
• Familiarity with event marketing (to support tradeshow initiatives) a plus
• Familiarity with PR/press release drafting and editing a plus but not mandatory
