Copywriter

Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and creative Freelance Copywriter to produce engaging web content for the HVAC client. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HVAC systems and the ability to create compelling content tailored to their audience on their website, as well as create technical copy for their brochures.

This is estimated to be around 10 hours a week in the beginning and then may become more project-based work. You will be required to meet weekly during EST business hours, but the work can be completed after hours. You must be able to take a theme or concept and create multiple post ideas.

You must have your own technology and laptop.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and write high-quality, engaging, and informative content for social, web and product brochures
• Create content directed to homeowners and technicians
• Collaborate with the marketing team to align content with overall marketing strategies and goals.
• Conduct research to stay updated on industry trends and incorporate relevant information into content.
• Optimize content for SEO and social media algorithms to increase visibility and engagement.
• Maintain a consistent brand voice and style across all social media content.
• Create copy for landing pages and regional campaigns as needed.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a copywriter, preferably in the HVAC industry or a related field (ex. Utilities, AEC industry, etc).
• Ability to write content in both English and Spanish
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Portfolio showcasing web copy and technical product brochures
• Ability to create content that is both informative and engaging.
• Knowledge of SEO
• Excellent research skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Ability to upload drafts into clients Project Management Systems
