Graphic Designer - Beauty

Beauty/skincare client is seeking mid-level Visual Designer to work with their team. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days/week at the office (Monday and Friday are remote) in Long Beach. This opportunity is open to freelance to fulltime (full 40 hours/week) or fulltime direct hire for the right person.

The ideal candidate is looking to find a fulltime home. You come from a beauty/skincare background and are experienced in handling full brand refreshes and have an elevated and elegant design aesthetic.

Must Haves

• Bachelor's degree
• Strong portfolio showcasing typography, layout, color theory, and composition, and great user-centered design solutions
• Experience handling a brand refresh
• Image manipulation and print experience required
• Experience leading creative development of innovative creative from concept to delivery
• Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma
• Understand usability principles that help drive successful design
  
  

What You'll Do

• Ideate and create design assets for various projects, including digital and print graphics, website landing pages, paid ads, email/SMS, sales decks, and presentations
• Steer direction of future creative based upon performance data (metric tests, usability studies, etc)
• Present concepts and produced work to stakeholders and internal customers, including senior management
• Review designs proofs for brand accuracy
• Maintain all design and assets
• Stay up to date with relevant industry trends and competitors
