Social Media Specialist

Our global beauty client in North Dallas is looking for a FREELANCE Social Media Analyst to start in March, 40 hours per week, for at least 12 months.

Position Overview

The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies to enhance brand awareness, engage with the target audience, and drive traffic across multiple platforms including TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts. The role requires a creative thinker with strong analytical skills to monitor performance and optimize content accordingly.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with business goals.
• Familiarity with trends, algorithms and analytics tools within TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts and Facebook
• Create, curate, and manage published content across social media platforms.
• Monitor social media channels for trends and audience engagement.
• Analyze social media performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate with marketing and design teams to ensure cohesive branding.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices and technologies.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• 2 - 5 years' experience in social media analytics, strategy and account/community management
• Proven experience in social media management and analytics.
• Proficiency in Hootsuite, TikTok Analytics, Facebook and Instagram Insights
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail.
