As a Freelance Designer at Redscout, you make creative work practical and tangible—uncovering the logic behind design decisions, and developing functional tools with the partnership of the Design, Strategy and Growth teams. Success means that you’re able to translate complex design systems into usable applications (e.g. presentation decks, workshop materials, client touchpoints and internal materials), work collaboratively, and play an active role in helping our clients execute on design solutions. While this job is fully remote, we require that you work during EST.
- Build out design materials across diverse formats, including slide decks, OOH advertisements, social media, web, strategic mockups, and more.
- Elevate presentation design and develop bespoke templates with different levels of complexity and hierarchy.
- Partner with strategists and designers to create materials for client workshops.
- Animate various design touchpoints for clients, prospective clients, and internal assignments.
- Collaborate with the Growth team to design new business materials and social assets.
- Organize assets and create folder structures to prepare for client delivery.
- Prepare final files and mechanicals for digital and print production, ensuring they meet technical specifications.
- Coordinate with project teammates to track against deadlines and deliverables.
- Maintain meticulous attention to detail, catching edits and inconsistencies across all client materials.
- Proactively follow up on details across your projects, surfacing questions, concerns, and observations as they arise and filling gaps as necessary.
- 3 to 4 years of experience working in a design studio or agency setting is preferred.
