My Content Co is looking for a Freelance Social Media Marketing Coordinator in the Baltimore/DC area. This person will be responsible for writing social media content that aligns with client brands for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and X. Must be able to match brand voice and tone, as well as brand image for graphics, for a variety of clients in different industries. Familiarity with social media best practices, including posting times for engagement, and Canva for creating graphics, is required.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor social media channels for 20+ clients, across platforms
- Post creative and engaging content regularly, showcasing consistent branding alignment
- Respond to messages and reviews as necessary
- Keep track of new client requests as they come in
- Create graphics for social media posting using Canva
- Follow social media posting best practices for different industries and platforms
- Create up to 1 month's worth of social media posts at a time via a content calendar
- Meet strict deadlines for turning over social media calendars - time management is extremely important in this role!
- Experience with project coordination a plus
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of social media experience, or degree in marketing or a related field
- Excellent written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and switch focus between clients as needed
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Experience working with Canva or another design program
- Ability to meet deadlines
- A passion for creative work!
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
Work Location: Remote
