Job Description: As a Web Developer at Klatch, you’ll be the wizard behind the curtain, building and maintaining websites that wow clients. From WordPress to Shopify to Squarespace, you’ll make it all happen! Bonus points if you know how to make a site load faster than a TikTok trend goes viral.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and deploy websites using WordPress, Shopify, and Squarespace platforms.
- Customize themes and plugins as per client specifications.
- Collaborate with designers and project managers to ensure the websites meet client requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to website functionality, performance, and security.
- Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and responsiveness across devices.
- Ensure website compatibility with major browsers and devices.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in web development with a strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in WordPress, Shopify, and Squarespace.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Experience with e-commerce platforms, particularly Shopify.
- Ability to customize themes, plugins, and work with APIs.
- Strong understanding of web design principles, SEO, and UX/UI best practices.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Previous freelance experience is a plus.
